Plaza Patio ascends in the north, leading to raised eating areas that are accessible via a variety of ramps and stairways. The dining area is a core element of the plaza. Plantain trees are planted in strict geometrical order, providing shade and making it possible to enjoy the breeze. To the west of the plaza, a row of trees stretches out from within, extending the campus landscape. The lightwell to the parking area below again provides natural light to the underground level, accessed via lightweight stairs.
