Formation of a Topographical Ensemble
To define the identity of this place, we propose creating an open residential landscape with ample opportunities for exploration. The topography allows for a seamless transition from public to private spaces in various nuances. This complex features semi-public communal areas and inviting public squares. The topography unfolds at different elevations along pathways, public squares, and photo shooting stations, accentuating their immediate surroundings.
Creation of a Cottage for the Residents of St. Klemens
In our quest for an alternative to the traditional station typology, we have developed various clusters of houses that offer a subtle reinterpretation of individual living within a community setting. In this complex, being a neighbor means experiencing a different path to your room every day and fostering casual interactions. The arrangement of the buildings responds to the sloping terrain and optimizes the scenic views.
Designing Adjacent Residential Groups
The complex comprises 10 houses, each boasting unique color nuances and detailed room and window solutions. These houses are interconnected by transparent connectors that provide access to semi-public amenities. On the ground floor, you will find facilities such as the village square, a multifunctional hall, a chapel with a serene space for reflection, a café, and an art studio. At street level, a forecourt awaits with direct access to the reception area, a hair salon, and a café lounge featuring an outdoor terrace.
