The architect Laura P. Spinadel, co-founder of the Argentinian-Austrian architecture firm BUSarchitektur, participated in our survey “Ahead through Research”. In 2008, the office won the master plan and general planner competition for the campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU campus) and realized the lecture hall center, the open space and the garage. The campus was quickly considered an urban milestone. As early as 2001, the Compact City of Vienna, initiated by BUSarchitektur was awarded the Otto Wagner Urban Development Prize. After 20 years in the architectural profession, Spinadel also founded BOA office for advanced randomness in 2004, which visualizes plans, animates models, builds virtual spaces and allows people to interact with each other.
