Wind as well as water played a key role in the spatial configuration of the different areas of Campus WU’s public space. In order to understand the wind flow, different sets of conditions were tested using both digital simulations and wind tunnel scenarios. These were used to visualise points of conflict and to suggest solutions for minimizing the impact of wind, such as planting trees.
