Within the Master Plan, in addition to the mapping of designated infrastructural arteries and defined conduits for movement, time-based flow diagrams are employed to test and assess the performance of the site’s internal circulatory network, direct the detail design of its public spaces and promote their activation. These diagrams map the choreography of the site’s occupation by a variety of distinct users in relation to the range of programmed activities and events offered at the university and the different temporal rhythms and intervals that define them.
